Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy is also referenced in our Terms of Service.

1. Introduction

Pingoo (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our HTTP endpoint monitoring service (the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account data: username, email address (for example when you sign in with OAuth or credentials), and authentication-related data managed by our auth system.
  • Monitoring configuration: endpoint names, URLs, HTTP methods, optional custom headers and request bodies you configure for checks, and scheduling preferences (for example check frequency).
  • Support messages: information you voluntarily send when contacting us.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Check results: HTTP status codes, latency, timestamps, and limited response body text stored for history and troubleshooting (as configured in the product).
  • Technical data: server logs may include IP addresses, user agents, and request paths typical of web applications.
  • Session cookies: cookies used to keep you signed in and secure the Service.

When the Service performs a check against a URL you configure, the target server may log our requests like any other HTTP client. You are responsible for only monitoring URLs you are allowed to access.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service (including scheduling checks and showing dashboards).
  • Authenticate users and protect accounts.
  • Store monitoring history you expect to see in the product.
  • Respond to support requests and comply with law.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with subprocessors strictly as needed to run the Service (for example OAuth providers you choose, or hosting/infrastructure you or we configure for a deployment). Self-hosted deployments process data on infrastructure you control.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service and users.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the Service. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Retention

We retain information as long as needed to provide the Service and as described in-product (for example ping history retention). You may delete endpoints or your account where the product supports it; residual backups may persist for a limited period depending on how you host the Service.

7. Your choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data. Contact us to make a request. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. International transfers

If you access the Service from outside the country where it is hosted, your information may be processed in that country or other locations involved in your deployment.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post updates on this page and revise the “Last updated” date.
